The Guitar Fingerboard Radiusing Router Bit is designed to add radius to your guitar fretboard, with a 12” radiused cutting height of 1-7/8” for fretboards up to 3-3/4 wide.
Affix the fingerboard to the planed and squared backing stock of the same width, using double faced tape. Adjust the fence to be flush with the bearing, then proceed to route as described below.
First Pass:
Line up the top of the blade with the center of the stock to route the first half of the radius.
Second Pass:
Flip the stock assembly along the length and route the second side to complete the radius.
